Medium: acrylic gel, acrylic, satin glazing medium, and glass bead gelCanvas size: 30 x 40 in Collection: Red Carpet “Red Carpet” captures the atmosphere of a world built on attention, where presence is heightened and every detail is designed to be seen. Inspired by the energy of the red carpet, the collection reflects excitement, movement, and the constant exchange between visibility and image.Across the three works, abstract compositions are combined with symbolic elements such as eyes and lips, suggesting both expression and observation. These fragments of the face appear and dissolve within textured surfaces, hinting at identity without fully defining it. They act as markers of emotion, while also reminding us how appearance is constructed and perceived.Created with acrylic on canvas, satin glazing medium, and glass bead gel, each piece is developed using palette knife techniques to build layered textures. The surfaces catch and reflect light, echoing the flashes, motion, and shifting focus of a crowded, high-energy environment. Backgrounds in pink, blue, and purple introduce varying emotional tones, moving between seduction, mystery, and intensity.Rather than representing the red carpet directly, the collection translates its feeling—the glamour, the pressure, and the fleeting moments of attention. Beneath the surface, it suggests a tension between what is shown and what remains hidden, where beauty becomes both a form of expression and a constructed image.“Red Carpet” reflects a space where excitement and illusion exist side by side, and where being seen does not always mean being fully known.
